Exhibitions & Fairs | 1 - 6 September 2011 | Designmuseum Danmark | Public event
by Ege

During Copenhagen Design Week 2011 the audience will be met by Egetæpper’s interpretation of “The Red Carpet.”
The past and the present are melt together when Design Museum Denmark’s historic facade are reflected in Egetæpper’s digital universe and invites the audience inside the Design Museum’s historical and present collections of arts, craft and design.

The result of the meeting between high-tech Danish industry production anno 2011 and the 1700th century Rococo architecture of Frederiksstaden is blended together in the beautiful carpet made especially for Design Museum Denmark and Copenhagen Design Week 2011 by Egetæpper.

Idea and concept: Karen Kjaergaard, Architect
Design: Karen Lund Hansen, Egetæpper A/S

Data: The carpet is dyed at Ege’s Milliton coloring plant in Highline 1100 polyamide quality (1100 g/m2, EN1307, Class33) with a woven textile back.
