How can design help public managers achieve desired change? What are the principles and attitudes needed for managers to achieve new insight, generate powerful ideas, and execute them within complex, bureaucratic systems? How can design help?
How Public Design is an international design seminar hosted by MindLab, a cross-ministerial innovation unit that leverages design, ethnography and public management to help government departments and agencies develop new public policies and services.
The event will focus on dialogue around practical cases from within the public sector and will be anchored around a series of brief thought-provoking presentations. The participants will be around forty public managers, academics, design practitioners and other thought leaders from across the globe. By invitation only.
