How can a co-creation between physical activity, design and art be implemented into the Social Space, creating social relations? According to Ping Out, an outdoor Ping Pong project is the answer.
Ping Out strives to create an extra dimension to the outdoor space as it is lived out in the streets and community parks – bringing together the concepts of exercise and competition with the creation and appreciation of aesthetics. This co-creation of concepts is widely represented in Danish culture in general.
Ping Out will, during Copenhagen Design Week, place 2 ping pong tables at Nikolaj Square for general use. The tables have been decorated by a Danish street artist, Husk Mit Navn.
Ping pong bats and balls are found at Nikolaj Copenhagen Contemporary Art Center's reception, at Nikolaj Square 10.

The tables will be available at all hours during Copenhagen Design Week, if you have your own ping pong bat and ball.
